We recently repaired a 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra rear bumper for Duke's Body Shop. The bumper was made of polyurethane, and it had some pretty bad damage on it. We did the repair with the airless plastic welder and thermoplastic (meltable) polyurethane welding rod.
As 2019 comes to a close, we want to remind everyone of all of the new products we launched and changes we made this year. This is a great way to catch up on anything you may have missed!
Polyvance is announcing the availability of two new welding rods -- black nylon and 15% glass-reinforced nylon. We recently refurbished a machine the dries hydrophilic resins like nylon, allowing us to extrude the welding rods with proper moisture levels for optimum quality. This enables us to expand our range of nylon (polyamide) rods.
Polyvance's new 2044-3 UV Fast Patch is a self-adhesive patch that cures quickly when exposed to UV light, forming a rock-hard, tough, fiber-reinforced patch that will create a long-lasting, temporary, or even permanent, repair. UV Fast Patch will stick to virtually any rigid substrate, plastic, metal, wood, ceramic, or fiberglass.
The Polyvance Flextex VT line has been expanded to include the 3804N-4 National Rule reducer and two starter kits, the 3804K and the low-VOC 3804KZ.
