The supply chain issues that have made headlines over the past few years have impacted parts availability in the collision repair industry. For this reason, many shop owners are more interested than ever in repairing parts than replacing them. Plastic parts are great candidates for repair because they are not structural and are often easy to repair with the right equipment and knowledge.
The knowledge side of this equation is lacking in shops more than the absence of tools or equipment. Technician turnover and a general hesitancy to repair damaged plastic parts has created a need for easily accessible training on plastic repair.
To fill this need, Polyvance has created Polyvance University, a FREE online training resource that will help technicians, estimators, and auto body students learn plastic repair essentials.
Polyvance University courses are hosted on our training website. To take a course, you must first register for an account on the training website. Please click here to access the training website.
