Some popular vehicle models, such as the Mazda Miata, have bumpers with plastic support brackets. These brackets can be nifty for a great many reasons. They provide great reinforcement, substantially minimizing the bumper's liklihood to dent. However, they have been known to break off, taking the tab-- which holds the reinforcement in place-- with them. This creates the need for a repair that would be virtually impossible without a nitrogen plastic welder.
In our most recent instructional video, we walk through the step-by-step process of recreating tabs for bumper support brackets using one of our nitrogen plastic welders.
If you're interested in scheduling a demonstration or professional training course on Polyvance's nitrogen plastic welders for your shop or event, email info@polyvance.com or call 800-633-3047.
