Polyvance Announces Nitro-Fuzer Touch Nitrogen Plastic Welder

Polyvance is announcing its newest nitrogen plastic welder – the Nitro-Fuzer Touch. The Nitro-Fuzer Touch features a large touchscreen that simplifies welding with easy control functions, including temperature and gas flow. Polyvance is presenting the Touch to the collision repair market at the 2024 SEMA Show. Representatives from the company will be demonstrating the functions of the welder at booth 34043. Polyvance welcomes all interested parties to visit their booth to see the new welder.

The Nitro-Fuzer Touch is pre-programmed with over twenty different plastic types and their recommended temperature and gas flow settings. Selecting the plastic type automatically adjusts the temperature and gas flow on the welder. Users can customize the pre-programmed settings or add their own welding presets. Up to ninety-nine programmable welding presets can be stored in the system’s memory. Welding temperature and gas flow can be adjusted using the on-screen sliders or by entering the desired value. The Nitro-Fuzer Touch features real-time airflow temperature monitoring; once the welding temperature is set, it will remain constant even if the flow is adjusted.

Polyvance focused on safety initiatives and user-friendliness when designing the Nitro-Fuzer Touch, which is currently being tested to UL 499 safety standards. The welder features automatic low-flow power shutoff, handle temperature monitoring, and fully shielded tool holsters. The digital touchscreen can be locked to prevent accidental changes to the temperature and flow settings. The welder will shut down after prolonged inactivity, and it automatically enters its cool-down cycle when powered off. The Nitro-Fuzer Touch is built with professional-quality components and includes a fully assembled, heavy duty cart. The welder is made in the USA and has a two-year warranty.

Two models are available: the 8302 Nitro-Fuzer Touch is designed to use bottled nitrogen gas, while the 8303 Nitro-Fuzer Touch includes an onboard nitrogen generator. In addition to the nitrogen welder, the Nitro-Fuzer Touch includes an airless welder. The airless welder is used for smoothing nitrogen welds, embedding stainless steel wire mesh, and repairing thermoset polyurethane plastics. Three organizer boxes of plastic welding rod and several welding accessories also come with the welder, allowing users to start welding plastic right away. The included welding rods match the most common plastic materials used on today's automobiles.

Polyvance currently anticipates availability of the 8302 and 8303 Nitro-Fuzer Touch in early December. The 8302 will be priced at $4,595.00, and the 8303 will be priced at $7,195.00. The two new Nitro-Fuzer Touch welders join Polyvance’s established digital 8202 and 8203 Nitro-Fuzer models. Starting November 1, 2024, Polyvance’s Nitro-Fuzer nitrogen plastic welder line will only be available through authorized equipment distributors.
