In I-CAR's tenth issue of the Collision Reporter magazine, they summarize the many changes to their program, as can be seen on pages 8 and 9 here. From now on, in order to maintain Gold Class status, a shop is going to need two Hands-On Skills Development courses each year.
Thankfully, Polyvance offers several options to satisfy your hands-on skills training requirement. All of our hands-on courses -- the PR-01, PR-02, and PR-04 -- are acceptable alternatives to I-CAR's hands-on plastic repair course, as listed in this excerpt from I-CAR's Personal Development Program Protocols for the Industry Training Alliance.
If you are needing some hands-on training to maintain your Gold Class status this year or beyond, contact our training department at 800-633-3047, or go to our training page to register for one of our plastic repair courses. You'll not only satisfy the training requirement, but you will also gain the knowledge you need to perform quality plastic repairs with confidence.
