Flextex VT Texture Material Product Line Update

Technicians today are gaining confidence in plastic repairs, but when it comes to damaged textured plastics, the normal reaction is to say "replace it!"

With Polyvance's 3804 Flextex VT texture paint, you can now confidently repair and refinish many damaged textured plastic parts, reducing cycle time and severity.

Flextex VT allows you to vary the size of the texture, from fine to coarse, by varying the paint reduction ratio and the spray technique. To obtain a coarse texture, spray Flextex VT unreduced through a primer gun. To achieve a medium or fine texture, add the appropriate reducer and spray through a clearcoat gun. Because spray technique is very important in achieving good results, Polyvance has created new instructional resources to help guide painters on the proper use of the products. Two reducers are available -- 3804R Zero VOC reducer for low-VOC areas, and 3804N regular reducer for National Rule areas. Polyvance is also introducing new kits to help make it easier for you to try out this unique product. The 3804K National Rule Flextex VT kit includes the National Rule reducer. The 3804KZ Low VOC Flextex VT kit includes the Zero VOC reducer.
