Buick Headlight Tab Repair

We just repaired a Buick headlight for a local customer. It had two broken tabs and some large cracks in the housing. We repaired it using our nitrogen plastic welding system and polypropylene welding rods and ribbons. The 6032 "Blockhead" airless welding tip came in handy on the smaller broken tab. The customer only wanted the headlight repaired, so we didn't do any refinishing. The repair is solid and strong!

We repaired the crack first using the nitrogen plastic welder and polypropylene welding ribbon.

Smoothing the weld

We used the airless plastic welder along with the nitrogen plastic welder to smooth the weld.

We used polypropylene welding rod to repair the square tab and then smoothed the weld. The 6032 Blockhead welding tip allowed us to smooth the weld easily.
