Polyvance at I-CAR's 2019 Volunteer & Instructor Conference
Polyvance listed as an I-CAR Sustaining Partner
Polyvance is proud to be a Sustaining Partner of I-CAR and to be included among our esteemed industry peers on the sponsor board at last weekend's Volunteer & Instructor Conference in Orlando. I-CAR is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. Their management team has made great strides over recent years to fulfill the I-CAR vision that every person in the collision repair industry has the information, knowledge, and skills required to perform complete, safe, and quality repairs for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of I-CAR, there was a museum set up at the conference. Part of the display was an old, well-used Mini-Weld Model 3 plastic welder dating back to the 1990's! We are proud to be part of the origin story of I-CAR.

Pictured here is company president Kurt Lammon and Jim Outwater of Allstate Insurance at the conference. We are happy to report that Jim and his team at Allstate recently started using our new EPR-01 Estimating Plastic Repair course to train their adjusters on the special aspects of plastic bumper damage estimating. The course includes a module with over 40 calibration exercises that helps estimators identify the severity of plastic bumper repairs on a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being very easy and 5 being very difficult/impossible. If you are looking to increase your labor hours and plastic repair percentage, check out this course. If plastic repair doesn't get written in the first place, it won't get done.
