Replacing the Hot Air Heating Element on the 6180 Mini-Fuzer
If the 6180 Mini-Fuzer is not getting hot and the temperature readout has a low number starting with a zero that doesn’t increase, the welder’s heating element is burned out. The heating element can be replaced by opening the handle, desoldering the burned-out element from the board, and resoldering a new element in. Polyvance has released a video showing the replacement process. The video is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Polyvance has a dedicated page for information about the 6180 Mini-Fuzer in different languages.
