On February 6th and 7th, the 24 Hours of Lemons race was held at the Barber Motorsports track in Birmingham. As a team-building and morale-boosting exercise, Polyvance chose to build a company "race car" and compete in the 2016 LeMons race in Birmingham, AL. Other than a small problem with an axle (which was replaced in just over an hour), Polyvance finished in a respectable position, especially when you consider that this was Polyvance's first time competing in the LeMons race.
Here, we present to you some highlights from that race. Enjoy!
Here is what we had to work with for a "race car": A tornado-damaged, 1997 Nissan 200SX with a 1.6 liter engine and 197,000 miles.
We had a great time, and we are already scheming planning for our next 24 Hour of LeMons race.
If you are interested in competing in a 24 Hours of LeMons race, you can find out more and enter at their web site.
