New Products:
6077 Bumper Mate 3 Plastic Repair Workstation
A multi-use work surface that allows a repair technician to easily secure plastic bumper covers, headlights, fenders, and other parts in virtually any position for repair. The Bumper Mate 3 includes pivoting support arms, a slotted top for bungee tie-downs, a durable, burn-resistant composite work surface, and two moveable support stands to securely hold awkwardly shaped parts.
A new welding tip for the airless plastic welder. We designed the blockhead welding tip after repairing many headlights that have tabs with gussets or waffles. The squared edges help to shape the gussets and waffles giving you a better appearance to the repair. It's not just for headlights, though. Anytime you need to sharp edge, use the blockhead tip.
3804-SK Flextex VT Starter Kit
The products in this kit contain the Polyvance products we use when we add texture to plastic parts or retexture repaired textured parts. Contains: 1000-A Super Prep plastic cleaner, 1050-A Plastic Magic adhesion promoter, 3043-4 All Seasons Black Jack Primer Surfacer (1 quart), 3804-4 Flextex VT (1 quart), and 3804N-4 Flextex VT Reducer (1 quart).
3804-SKZ Flextex VT Starter Kit (Low VOC)
The products in this kit contain the LOW VOC Polyvance products we use when we add texture to plastic parts or retexture repaired textured parts. Contains: 1001-4 EcoPrep plastic cleaner, 1050-A Plastic Magic adhesion promoter, 3043-4 All Seasons Black Jack Primer Surfacer (1 quart), 3804-4 Flextex VT (1 quart), and 3804R-4 Flextex VT Zero VOC Reducer (1 quart).

Training:
We spent a lot of time this year improving and adding to our training courses. We pride ourselves on having the best plastic repair training options in the industry.
PR-05 Texture Refinishing Course
Many plastic parts with damaged textured surfaces are discarded because collision repair shops are not aware that they can often be successfully repaired and refinished. The Polyvance PR-05 Texture Refinishing Course will provide knowledge and hands-on experience to the refinish technician. The knowledge gained from this course will allow shops to repair damaged textured parts, improve cycle time, reduce repair costs, and keep plastics out of the landfill. This course is approved by I-CAR for 1 credit hour.
Basics of Plastic Repair Course
Late last year we announced our “Polyvance University” training platform and our first course, “Basics of Plastic Repair”. This year, we translated the course into Spanish to provide more accessibility. This course is designed to give you the basic knowledge you will need to start working with plastic including plastic identification, plastic preparation, six different repair methods, and plastic refinishing.
Nitrogen Plastic Welding 1 Course
We added a second course to Polyvance University called “Nitrogen Plastic Welding 1”. This course is available in both English and Spanish. This course focuses on the practical knowledge you will need to perform actual fusion repairs on damaged thermoplastics with the nitrogen plastic welder. It covers proper alignment and fixturing, v-groove preparation, and the welding process itself.

The Book of Plastic Repair
This year, we updated The Book of Plastic Repair and condensed it down to 12 pages. We also translated it into Spanish.
